Itinerary

Day 01: Manali to Jobra | Trek to Chika

Upon arriving in Manali, travelers will transfer to Jobra via a shared taxi (25 km).
From there, they’ll embark on a 3 km trek to Chika, where they’ll camp at 10,400 ft.
This marks the beginning of their Hampta Pass Circuit Trek adventure!

Day 02: Trek from Chika to Balu ka Ghera

After enjoying breakfast in the morning, we’ll proceed to our next campsite, Balu Ka Ghera.
Transitioning into the second day of the trek, which involves a gradual ascent, trekkers will be treated to spectacular views of the Dauladar range along the way.
Upon reaching Balu Ka Ghera, we’ll have lunch and spend the night at the campsite.

Day 03: Balu ka Gera to Hamta Top to Balu ka Gera

This segment represents the most spectacular part of the trek, where we’ll enjoy the breathtaking Hamta Top.
Transitioning from this highlight, we’ll then return to Balu ka Gera.
During this section of the trek, the ascent will be moderate.
Finally, we’ll settle in for the night at the Balu ka Gera campsite.

Day 04: Balu ka Gera to Jobra and back to Manali

On this day, we’ll embark on an easy descent through the Hamta Valley.
Transitioning from this picturesque route, the massive mountains of the Pir Panjal and Spiti ranges will dominate the entire landscape.
Afterwards, we’ll trek from Balu ka Gera to Jobra via Chika.
Finally, from Jobra, we’ll smoothly transition into a scenic drive back to Manali.

Embark on the Hampta Pass Circuit Trek with three nights of tented accommodation on a triple sharing basis.
Transitioning smoothly from this, relish in all-vegetarian meals served from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the fourth day.

As part of the inclusive package, all fees and permits for Indians are accounted for.
Additionally, comprehensive basic first aid medical kits, complete with an oxygen cylinder and oximeter, are provided for your safety.
Furthermore, benefit from the expertise of qualified and experienced leaders and support staff accompanying you throughout the journey.
To ensure seamless travel, all surface transfers from Manali to Manali, as per the itinerary, are efficiently arranged.

During the Hampta Pass Circuit Trek, meals during transit are not provided.
Transitioning further, fees and permits for non-Indian residents are excluded from the package.
Moreover, porter/mule charges for carrying personal bags are not included.
Additionally, it’s important to note that any expenses not explicitly mentioned in the itinerary are the responsibility of the trekker.
Furthermore, expenses of a personal nature are not covered within the package.
In the event of cost escalation due to “Force Majeure” and evacuation charges, these additional costs are also excluded.

What is the best time to go for Hampta Pass Trek?

The Hampta Pass Trek is accessible from June to October. However, in snowy conditions, the trek remains closed.

Is a guide required for the trek?

It is always advisable to have a guide when heading out on an expedition in the hills. Especially for first-time trekkers, the routes might get confusing, and if you’re not used to finding your way in the hills, it can be a scary experience. Therefore, always be prepared, and some help is never underappreciated.

What are kind of stays are generally available on the trek?

Camping is generally on a triple/quad sharing basis. However, for couples, we can arrange twin sharing tents on prior booking. Additionally, providing comfort for our guests is a priority, ensuring a personalized experience.

Whats is the temperatures at Hamta Pass?

During the summer season, days are pleasant, while evenings are cold. Transitioning into the monsoon, days become foggy, and evenings turn very cold. As autumn sets in, days become cold, and evenings become super cold.
