Formed after an earthquake, the lake is famous for its crystal-clear waters and the unique tree trunks rising from its surface. Surrounded by towering mountains and pristine landscapes, it offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Our journey then continues to the iconic Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and one of the most significant Buddhist monasteries in the world. Established in the 17th century, this magnificent monastery overlooks the beautiful Tawang Valley and serves as an important centre of Buddhist learning and spirituality. Explore its peaceful prayer halls, admire the intricate architecture, observe the monks’ daily rituals, and experience the tranquil atmosphere that makes this monastery one of Arunachal Pradesh’s most cherished landmarks.
