As evening approaches, all participants gather for an interactive trip briefing conducted by the International Youth Club team. During this session, you’ll receive detailed information about the expedition, riding protocols, safety guidelines, road conditions, weather expectations, permits, and important travel tips. This briefing ensures every rider is well-prepared for the Himalayan adventure ahead.

Following the briefing, you’ll meet your fellow travellers during a welcome session. Whether you’re travelling solo or with friends, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded riders, exchange stories, and build friendships that often last well beyond the trip.

After an early breakfast and a final ride briefing, your Himalayan adventure officially begins. Leaving behind the bustling streets of Guwahati, the journey gradually transitions into scenic highways surrounded by tea gardens, dense forests, and picturesque villages as you head towards the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh.

Our first major stop is Bhairabkunda, a peaceful destination where the rivers meet against a backdrop of lush greenery. Located close to the India–Bhutan border, this scenic spot offers a refreshing break from the road. Subject to local regulations, you’ll also have the opportunity to briefly step across the Bhutan border for a quick visit, adding a unique international experience to your journey.

Continuing onward, we arrive at the Balemu Check Gate, the official gateway into Arunachal Pradesh. Here, the mandatory Inner Line Permit (ILP) verification and documentation formalities are completed before we continue our journey into the mountains.

As the road begins to climb, the landscape transforms dramatically. Dense forests, winding mountain roads, fresh alpine air, and spectacular valleys welcome you into the Eastern Himalayas. A short ride ahead brings us to the iconic Bomdila Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Arunachal Pradesh. Leaving Bomdila behind, we continue towards the breathtaking Sangti Valley, one of Arunachal Pradesh’s hidden gems. Day 6: Lumla to Dirang | One Last Ride Through the Eastern Himalayas

After breakfast, it’s time to begin the return journey towards Dirang, marking the final riding day of your International Youth Club Tawang Bike Trip Package. Although we’re heading back, today’s route is filled with breathtaking landscapes, historic landmarks, and one final opportunity to experience the beauty of the Eastern Himalayas.
Leaving Lumla, we’ll ride through scenic mountain roads surrounded by dense forests, alpine valleys, and crystal-clear rivers. The cool mountain breeze and peaceful surroundings make this a relaxing yet memorable ride.
One of today’s major highlights is a visit to the legendary Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, whose bravery during the 1962 Indo-China War remains an inspiration to every traveller passing through this route. Spend some time exploring the memorial, learning about its fascinating history, and paying tribute to one of India’s greatest war heroes.
Continuing the journey, we’ll pass through the impressive Sela Tunnel, one of the newest engineering marvels in Arunachal Pradesh. Built to provide all-weather connectivity between Dirang and Tawang, the tunnel significantly improves travel while offering a smoother and more comfortable journey through the mountains.
As we descend from the higher altitudes, you’ll once again witness the stunning landscapes of Se La Pass, with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, alpine lakes, and colourful prayer flags fluttering in the mountain breeze. This is the perfect opportunity to capture a few final photographs before continuing towards Dirang.
By evening, we’ll reach the peaceful town of Dirang, where our riding expedition officially comes to an end. After checking into the hotel, all motorcycles and riding gear provided by International Youth Club will be returned as per the trip guidelines.

Day 7: Zemithang to Lumla | Ride Along the Indo–Bhutan Border

Wake up to the peaceful surroundings of Zemithang, where the gentle sound of flowing rivers and crisp Himalayan air create the perfect start to another incredible day. After breakfast, begin your ride towards the beautiful town of Lumla, travelling through some of the most untouched landscapes in Arunachal Pradesh.

Today’s route is all about discovering hidden valleys, ancient Buddhist heritage, and the scenic beauty of the India–Bhutan frontier. The winding mountain roads, pine forests, and traditional Himalayan villages make this one of the most peaceful rides of the expedition.

Our first stop is Kenzi Mani – Lhasa Dwar, a sacred gateway decorated with centuries-old Mani stones engraved with Buddhist prayers. Rich in history and culture, this peaceful landmark welcomes travellers into one of the most spiritual regions of Arunachal Pradesh.

Continuing the ride, we’ll head towards the India–Bhutan border region, where we’ll visit the beautiful Dolma Lhakhang, a serene Buddhist monastery surrounded by colourful prayer flags and breathtaking mountain landscapes. The first major highlight is the picturesque Tenga Valley, famous for its dense forests, flowing rivers, and peaceful army settlements. Continue riding through the beautiful Jamiri Valley, where rolling hills and open meadows create one of the most relaxing stretches of the expedition.

Further ahead, you’ll reach Bhalukpong, the official gateway connecting Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. After completing the exit formalities, the roads become smoother as you continue towards Nameri National Park, passing tea gardens and charming Assamese villages.

  • We have the right to cancel the group if we do not get the minimum strength of bikes in any group.
  • If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, and meals, etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither International Youth Club nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
  • We are not responsible for any change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc.
  • If any group member wants to leave the group in-between the tour then he/she will not be eligible for any refund and has to pay the cost for transportation of bike from point of leaving the tour till the tour endpoint.
  • Wearing a helmet, carrying a valid ID proof & Driving license is mandatory.
  • All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be at all responsible for the damage / missing / lost luggage. So carry a small daypack bag to carry all the expensive things with you.
  • Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during the tour to others property/person would be directly payable by you.
  • Due to any unforeseen weather conditions, road blockage, snowfall, rain, storm, the tour may continue to operate in tempo traveler instead of bikes.
  • In case of an emergency, if any rider is feeling uneasy then he can sit in the backup.Backing vehicle – Bolero/Camper/Xylo/Innova/tempo for mechanical and medical support.
  • We provide a well-experienced and skilled Royal Enfield Mechanic with spare parts and tools. They are well trained to handle large groups.
  • The spares used on the way will be chargeableBasic First Aid Kit – It’s advised that one should bring his/her own medicines which are known and suitable to him.
  • Road Captain will be responsible to manage the group by taking all safety measures. The group has to follow him to make the tour a success.
  • Foreign Nationals have to pay separately on their own for the permits.
  • Only one rucksack/backpack of 60 liters will be adjusted as it will be having tools and spares too.

To secure your booking, an initial payment of Rs. 3,000/- is required. Please note that this advance amount is non-refundable under all circumstances.

A structured payment schedule must be followed to ensure smooth processing of your travel arrangements:

30 Days Before the Travel Date:

You are required to pay 50% of the total package cost. This allows us to initiate reservations and confirm essential travel services.

15 Days Before the Travel Date:

An additional 25% of the total package cost must be paid. This step helps us finalize and secure all necessary travel components.

7 Days Before the Travel Date:

The remaining balance, completing 100% of the total amount, must be cleared. Full payment is mandatory to process your final confirmations and travel documents.

Important:

The booking stands liable to be canceled if 100% payment is not received less than 07 days before the Date of Travel. The received amount will be forfeited.

Bypass Policy :

Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar extraordinary events affecting the tour region.
