Itinerary

Day 01: (Leh) Arrival in Leh | Rest & Acclimatization Day || 11,600 ft

Upon arriving in Leh, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Following this, you’ll receive a briefing on the program and upcoming events of your journey.
Afterward, settle in and enjoy an overnight stay, with dinner included.
Transitioning smoothly into your adventure, your first night in Leh promises relaxation and anticipation for the days ahead.

Day 02: (Leh) Leh Local Sightseeing || 11,600 ft

Following a sumptuous breakfast, the group will embark on a sightseeing tour to Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, and the mesmerizing confluence of River Indus and Zanskar.
The journey to these iconic landmarks will unfold along the NH1 Leh Srinagar Highway, flanked by army checkpoints and camps.
As you traverse this highway, akin to an airstrip, expect a smooth ride coupled with breathtaking scenic vistas.
After the sightseeing excursion, take some leisure time to explore the vibrant Leh Market for shopping delights.
Concluding the day, return to Leh for dinner and an overnight stay, with anticipation lingering for the adventures that await.

Day 03: (Nubra) Leh to Nubra Valley || 10,000 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hr

Awaken to a refreshing morning and set out for Nubra Valley, a cold desert boasting vast landscapes and majestic mountain ranges.
Embark on an exhilarating journey through the World’s Second Highest Motorable Pass, Khardung La, soaking in the breathtaking views along the way.
Upon arrival in Nubra, choose to elevate your experience with optional camel rides amidst the desert mountains of Hunder or opt for an ATV ride for an added adrenaline rush (additional cost).
After a day filled with adventure, relish in a delicious breakfast and dinner, before retiring for a peaceful overnight stay amidst the serene ambiance of Nubra Valley.

Day 04: (Nubra) Turtuk Village Day Excursion || 9,850 ft | 196 KM | 8-9 hr

As the sun rises, prepare to pack your bags for Turtuk village, once part of Pakistan before 1971.
Positioned 205 km from Leh town, Turtuk is nestled by the Shyok River, serving as the last village before the Line of Control (LOC).
Along the journey and in Turtuk, indulge in stunning views, then make your way back to Nubra Valley.
Finally, wind down the day with a delicious breakfast and dinner, followed by a cozy overnight stay amidst the tranquil surroundings of Nubra Valley.

Day 05: (Pangong) Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso || 14,000 ft | 160 KM | 7-8 hr

Gear up for another exhilarating day of your Leh Ladakh package as you navigate through rugged paths in the lofty mountains.
The journey unfolds towards the breathtaking Pangong Tso (lake) via the challenging routes of the Shyok river or Wari La Pass, often traversed by the army due to its rugged terrain.
Despite its challenges, the route promises a thrilling adventure as you make your way towards the enchanting blue lake.
Upon arrival at Pangong Tso, immerse yourself in the serenity of the picturesque lake and soak in the magnificent views that surround you.

Day 06: (Leh) Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La Pass || 11,600 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hr

As morning arrives, gear up for another thrilling journey back to Leh via the exhilarating Chang La pass, the third highest mountain pass in the world.
Along the way, stop at the famous Druk White Lotus School, featured in the blockbuster Bollywood movie ‘3 Idiots’, adding a cinematic touch to your adventure.
Upon returning, visit the beautiful Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Lastly, spend some leisure time exploring the bustling Leh Market for souvenirs and local treasures.
Conclude the day with a satisfying breakfast and dinner, followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Leh, reminiscing on the unforgettable moments of your Ladakh adventure.

Day 07: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport independently to board your flight for the onward journey.

Payment Policy
Cancellation

For Ground Package

Booking Amount: 30% of the total amount.
46 Days or more before the Date of Travel – 25% of the Total Cost
31 – 45 Days before date of departure – 50% of Total Cost
30 Days before date of departure – 100% of Total Cost

Important: The booking stands liable to be canceled if 100% payment is not received less than 15 days before the Date of Travel. The received amount will be forfeited.

For Flight Tickets

100% Amount of flight tickets at the time-of-flight booking.
Any rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds of flight tickets shall be as per respective airlines rules.

We would love to host you, but in case you are unable to travel as planned and need to cancel your booking, do not worry. Our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast Credit Voucher.

Cancellation made before 46 Days or more before Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount
Cancellation made within 31 to 45 Days before the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 75% of Received Amount
Cancellation made before 15 Days to 30 Days before the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 50% of Received Amount
Cancellation made under 15 Days from the Date of Travel – No Refund

The applicable Credit Voucher will be sent to you on your registered email id within 72 hours from the date of Cancellation. Cancellation will only be accepted on email at accounts@internationalyouthclub.org.

The Credit Voucher shall be valid for one year from the Date of Cancellation.
The Credit Voucher can be redeemed against the equivalent or higher amount of the booked package amount.

In case of Lockdown or Covid Positive Report, Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount with a validity of 1 year from the date of travel with be credited.

How long does it take to get adapted to weather in Ladakh?

Taking rest for a day or two to get yourself acclimatized is a piece of advice that is always recommended. Also, it is always suggested to avoid any strenuous activity during your initial days.

How can I pay for my travel?

You can make payment via UPI, bank transfer, or internet banking.

Should I visit Leh Ladakh during winters?

For exploring the real beauty of Ladakh, it is advised to visit during winters. At the same time, as oxygen levels are low during winters, its generally not recommended to most of the people due to adaptability issues.

Are there any ATM’s in Leh Ladakh? Or Do I need to survive on cash?

Do note that cards are not accepted at major places like petrol pumps, restaurants, etc. And during your travel, only a few ATMs can be found at some places like Manali, Srinagar, which again aren’t a guarantee. It is recommended to carry at least ₹20,000 in hand to fill in as a bunker if needed.
