Itinerary

Day 00: Delhi to Kullu Manali || 6,700 ft | 540 KM | 14-15 hr

Later today, you’ll be boarding a Volvo bus from Delhi to Kullu Manali after 5 PM.

Given that it’s an overnight journey, make sure you’re fully prepared.

Day 01: (Manali) Arrival in Kullu Manali || 6,700 ft

Upon reaching Manali, proceed to your pre-booked accommodation.

Today is designated as a rest and acclimatization day. During this time, you can leisurely enjoy a nature walk to Hadimba Temple and Manu Temple in Old Manali village. Notably, Hadimba Temple, dedicated to Hadimba Devi, the wife of Bhima from Mahabharata, is particularly unique.

Similarly, Manu Temple, located near the Beas River, honors sage Manu, the creator of humanity. Later in the evening, participate in an orientation and tour briefing.

Finally, dinner and an overnight stay await you in Kullu Manali.

Day 02: (Jispa) Kullu Manali to Jispa/Billing || 10,498 ft | 110 KM | 3-4 hr

Your long-awaited journey to Ladakh finally begins on this day. Also pack your bags and get set for a thrilling trip ahead.

Along the way, you will travel through the stunning Solang Valley and also pass through the Atal Tunnel.

Upon reaching Jipsa/Billing, deposit your bike keys with the road captain and following unwind for an overnight stay.

Day 03: (Sarchu) Jispa to Sarchu || 14,100 ft | 90 KM | 3-4 hr

Today, get ready for an adventure as you conquer the 16,043-ft-high Bara-lacha la Pass in the Zanskar Range. The challenging terrains of Darcha and Zingzingbar will surely give you an adrenaline rush.

Don’t forget to capture stunning moments near the Chandrabhaga River (Chenab) with your handy camera. Along the way, make a stop to admire Suraj Taal and Deepak Taal, two breathtaking lakes in Lahaul and Spiti.

Upon reaching Sarchu, hand over your bike keys to the road captain and settle in for an overnight stay. Enjoy bikes, breakfast, dinner, and an overnight stay in Swiss Camps at Sarchu.

Day 04: (Leh) Sarchu to Leh || 11,562 ft | 250 KM | 6-7 hr

Today marks the beginning of your journey towards Leh, the vibrant hub of the Ladakh region. Along the way, you’ll traverse through Nakeela Pass, Whisky Nallah, Lachulung La Pass, Pang, More Plains, and Tanglang La Pass.

Finally upon arrival in Leh, make sure to hand over your bike keys to the road captain. Then, check in at your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 05: (Nubra) Leh to Nubra Valley || 10,000 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hr

Awake to a refreshing morning and embark on an exhilarating bike ride through the stunning landscapes of Nubra Valley, a cold desert adorned with majestic mountains.

Afterward feel the thrill of conquering one of the World’s Highest Motorable Passes, Khardung La. En route to Nubra, take in the serenity of the beautiful Buddha Statue and Diskit Monastery.

Finally upon reaching Nubra, consider opting for a camel ride in the sand dunes (additional cost). Later, hand over your bike keys to the road captain and settle in for an overnight stay in Nubra (Hunder).

Enjoy bikes, breakfast, dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 06: (Nubra) Nubra Valley to Turtuk Village to Nubra Valley || 9,850 ft | 196 KM | 8-9 hr

As the sun peeks over the horizon, prepare to pack your bags for the journey to Turtuk village, which was under Pakistan before 1971.

Nestled in Nubra tehsil, along the banks of the Shyok River, Turtuk is the last village before the Line of Control (LOC) at Thang Village. Moreover, here, you’ll be treated to stunning views, including the K2 Mountain range in Pakistan.

After exploring Turtuk’s unique beauty, you will travel back towards Nubra. Upon returning, be sure to hand over your bike keys to the road captain and settle in for an overnight stay.

Enjoy bikes, breakfast, dinner, and a comfortable night in Nubra Valley.

Day 07: (Pangong) Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso || 14,000 ft | 160 KM | 7-8 hr

Prepare for another day of exhilarating off-roading as you embark on a journey through rugged paths in the high mountains. The route leads to the stunning Pangong Tso lake, either via the challenging Shyok River route or Wari La Pass, a route frequently traversed by the army.

Upon arrival, behold the breathtaking sight of the mesmerizing blue lake. (*If Pangong Tso is closed, we will return to Leh and arrange a day excursion to Pangong Tso the following day in an SUV or tempo traveler.)

Once at Pangong Tso, immerse yourself in the picturesque lake and the magnificent views that surround it. Later, hand over your bike keys to the road captain and settle in for an overnight stay. Indulge in bikes, breakfast, dinner, and a comfortable night’s rest at Pangong Tso.

Day 08: (Leh) Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La || 11,600 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hr

In the morning, gear up for another exhilarating journey. Make your way back to Leh, passing through Chang La pass, one of the world’s highest mountain passes.

Along the way, specifically take a break to visit the famous Druk White Lotus School. Famously featured in the blockbuster Bollywood movie ‘3 Idiots’.

Additionally, if time allows, you can also explore Shey and Thiksey Monasteries. Upon arrival in Leh, be sure to hand over your bike keys to the road captain and thereafter settle in for an overnight stay.

Finally, enjoy bikes, breakfast, dinner, and a comfortable night in Leh.

Day 09: (Kargil) Leh to Kargil || 8,780 ft | 240 KM | 6-7 hr

As the morning unfolds today, embark on a scenic journey to Kargil. Firstly begin by visiting the Buddhist monastery of Lamayuru, nestled at a height of 3,510 m, offering serene views and spiritual solace.

Later, continue your exploration through the Fotu La mountain pass. After that, pass by Tiger Hill and pay homage at the Drass War Memorial before proceeding towards Kargil.

Upon arrival, ensure to hand over your bike keys to the road captain. Then, settle in for a well-deserved overnight stay.

Finally, enjoy bikes, breakfast, dinner, and a comfortable night in Kargil.

Day 10: (Srinagar) Kargil to Srinagar || 5,200 ft | 220 KM | 6-7 hr

On your way to Srinagar, delight in numerous attractions such as Fotu La Pass and Zojila Pass, each offering spectacular mountain vistas. En route, soak in the beauty of Sonmarg. Fondly known as the Mini Switzerland of India, where picturesque landscapes await.

Upon arriving in the evening, make sure to deposit your bike keys with the road captain. Then, settle in for a relaxing overnight stay at your pre-booked accommodation in Srinagar.

Finally, enjoy bikes, breakfast, dinner, and a comfortable night’s rest.

Day 11: Departure

Complete your amazing Himalayan excursion by taking a flight from Srinagar. Alternatively, if your flight is scheduled late, in due time feel free to explore Srinagar at your leisure.

Lastly, before your departure, enjoy breakfast and check out from your accommodation.
