Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Spiritual & Cultural Exploration

Your journey begins with your arrival in Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast.
After checking in, spend the day visiting the city’s most iconic sites.
Start with visiting Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India.
Moving forward we will visit Umananda Temple, located on the smallest inhabited river island in the world and Sankardev Kalakshetra, a cultural institution showcasing Assam’s rich heritage.
Also, Balaji Temple, known for its pristine white marble structure and Assam State Museum and Zoo, offering insight into Assam’s natural and cultural history.
In the evening, you can opt for a scenic Brahmaputra River Cruise (at additional cost) to unwind with sunset views.

Day 2: Guwahati to Bomdilla (370 km / 8 hrs) — Into the Eastern Himalayas

Post breakfast, begin your scenic drive as you leave behind the city chaos and head straight into the heart of the Eastern Himalayas.
En route, you will visit pause at Kemeng River,a peaceful spot to kick off your journey.
Take a refreshing break at Nichiphula Waterfall – perfect for stunning photos.
Stop at Nag Temple,a serene and spiritual detour amid the hills.
Reach Bomdilla by evening, check in to your hotel, and unwind in the mountain calm.

Day 3: Bomdilla to Tawang (170 km / 6 hrs) – Welcome to the Land of Monasteries

Wake up to fresh mountain air and a hot breakfast before you hit the road toward the mystical town of Tawang.
Today’s journey is as thrilling as the destination, with breathtaking landscapes and iconic high-altitude stops.
Embark on scenic drive through the majestic Sela Pass,a snow-covered wonderland at 13,700 ft.
Stop by Sela Lake,often frozen and shimmering like a mirror.
Pay tribute at Jaswant Garh War Memorial – dedicated to the brave Rifleman Jaswant Singh.
Feel the altitude, the chill, and the awe as you arrive in Tawang by evening.

Day 4: Bumla Pass Day Excursion (105 km / 5 hrs) — Alpine Beauty & Border Views

After breakfast, set out for a thrilling drive to Bumla Pass near the Indo-China border.

You will visit Bumla Pass, the Indo-China border at 15,200 ft, a patriotic and thrilling experience followed by visit PT Tso Lake, a magical glacial lake surrounded by snow.
Stop at Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), featured in Bollywood, serene and stunning to take a Bollywood feel.
Return to Tawang in the evening and unwind.

Day 5: Tawang Local Sightseeing — Monasteries, Peace & Patriotism

After breakfast, dive into Tawang’s spiritual and cultural essence.

Visit Tawang Monastery, the largest in India, a spiritual marvel and the towering Buddha Statue, offering panoramic views of the valley.

Alternatively, you may email us at bookings@internationalyouthclub.org for booking and assistance. To confirm your booking, a payment of 30% of the package amount is required.

The check-in time is 12 noon/early check-in subject to availability of the room.
We have the right to cancel the group if we do not get the minimum strength of 4 people in any group.
If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, and meals, etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither International Youth Club nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
International Youth Club is not responsible for any change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc.
All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be at all responsible for the damage / missing / lost luggage. So carry a small daypack bag to carry all the expensive things with you.
Due to any unforeseen weather conditions, road blockage, snowfall, rain, storm, the tour may continue to operate in tempo traveler instead of bikes.
Foreign Nationals have to pay separately on their own for the permits.

30 Days before date of departure: 50% of Total Cost
15 Days before date of departure: 100% of Total Cost

Important: The booking stands liable to be canceled if 100% payment is not received less than 15 days before the Date of Travel. The received amount will be forfeited.

For Flight Tickets

100% Amount of flight tickets at the time of flight booking.
Any rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds of flight tickets shall be as per respective airlines rules.

We would love to host you, but in case you are unable to travel as planned and need to cancel your booking, do not worry. Our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast Credit Voucher.

Cancellation made within 30 to 15 Days from the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 50% of Paid Amount
Cancellation made within 15 Days from the Date of Travel – No Refund on the Paid Amount

The applicable Credit Voucher will be sent to you on your registered email id within 7 to 10 working days from the date of Cancellation. Cancellation will only be accepted on Email at accounts@internationalyouthclub.org.

The Credit Voucher shall be valid for one year from the Date of Cancellation.
The Credit Voucher can be redeemed against the equivalent or higher amount of the booked package amount.

In case of Lockdown or Covid Positive Report, Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount with a validity of 1 year from the date of travel with be credited.

In case you are unable to travel as planned and need to reschedule your date of travel:

Before 15 Days from the Date of Travel – One-time Complementary.
Within 15 Days from the Date of Travel – The cost of rescheduling needs to be paid by the guest subject to amendment charges from hotels and transporters.
